About the department
The BI Solutions team is a global team consisting of over 20 employees in Denmark and India. We provide Business Intelligence solutions using the newest BI Platform with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) on HANA and an enterprise data lake. Our solutions enable critical corporate processes across multiple functional areas such as Financial Reporting, Sales and Marketing, and Manufacturing.

 

The position
As a Advanced Business Analyst I at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Work within a specialized group, acting as a team player while also capable of working independently.
  • Handle incident and problem management processes, providing 2nd and 3rd level functional support.
  • Manage change and release management processes, handling system corrections, enhancements, and improvements from end to end.
  • Participate in project and analysis activities, collaborating closely with end-users throughout Novo Nordisk.
  • Understand business processes and effectively communicate complex issues in a non-technical way. 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Overall, 6+years of experience with relevant 3+years’ experience.
  • Deep knowledge within SAP Business Intelligence including Extract Transform Load (ETL), data modeling, back-end, and front-end development.
  • Should have experience in ABAP for SAP Business Warehouse Package.
  • Experience working with WEBI Reports/Analysis for Office Workbooks.
  • Knowledge of VBA scripting (preferred).
  • Experience with SAP HANA modeling (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Bex Query designer, Business Objects 4.0 and above (Analysis for Office, WebI, Design Studio), HP Quality Centre, and Remedy/ServiceNow (preferred).
  • Working experience with BW-IP BEx Input ready queries, planning functions, filters and sequences, and FOX formulas.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI (added advantage).
  • Familiarity with Agile principles and practices and experience working in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban (preferred).
