Vice President AI Reinvent & Engineering in Enterprise AI, Novo Nordisk

We are looking for a senior leader ready to transition from a leading large enterprise into a sector where AI is fundamentally changing patient outcomes and operational efficiency. The role is based in Denmark.

The position 

Reporting into the Chief AI Officer in Enterprise IT, you will be the core driver bridging advanced AI strategy with scaled, compliant deployment across the enterprise. Your mandate extends beyond technology implementation to the reinvention and reengineering of core processes end-to-end.

As the VP AI Reinvent & Engineering, you will:

• Orchestrate Global AI Deployment: Lead the AI deployment across the value chain with a strong focus on commercial as well as manufacturing, supply chain, HR and Quality maintaining a strong focus on delivering short term as well as long term value realization.
• Drive Business Outcomes: Reinvent and reengineer core processes, building and implementing AI and data products that align directly with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Establish Strategic Partnership: Partner with Digital Leads embedded in functional areas to accelerate AI adoption and value realization at scale.
• Thought Leadership and Influence: Act as a global expert and thought leader in data and AI, representing Novo Nordisk internally and externally in key industry forums.
• Ecosystem Management: Engage with strategic vendors, data providers, and global AI experts to identify emerging technologies and accelerate co-created value.
• Value Delivery Focus: Deliver AI-driven capabilities in high-value areas such as customer segmentation, omnichannel personalization, demand forecasting, pricing analytics, and field force effectiveness.
• Ensure Governance: Ensure strict compliance with internal and external data regulations and standards (e.g., GxP, GDPR).

Qualifications 

The successful candidate will be a proven senior leader with a strong track record of orchestrating large-scale AI transformation in complex, regulated environments.

To succeed in this role, you must bring:

• Deep expertise in ML engineering, designing resilient AI platforms, and defining enterprise AI strategy and governance.
• Proven experience leading AI initiatives within heavily regulated environments (e.g., GxP, GDPR).
• Familiarity with advanced data governance frameworks and deploying predictive analytics to achieve critical business objectives.
• A demonstrated ability to drive cultural change, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement in data and AI practices.

• The Enterprise AI team is strategically based in Denmark and India.
