Let’s talk about the role
As a System Architect, you will be instrumental in creating technical alignments within our Agile Release Trains (ART) and across areas. Your expertise will drive the solution vision, roadmap, reference architecture, and the architectural runway. You will be responsible for crafting IT infrastructure solutions that support our business objectives and adapt to the evolving technological landscape.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the definition and high-level design of solution alternatives
- Translate business strategy into technology platform requirements
- Oversee the alignment of teams within the ART to a shared technical direction
- Guide and empower GITO PI Solution Architects and other architects with architectural tasks
- Chair the GITO PI Architectural Forum, fostering strong leadership in organizational development and strategy
This role is central to coordinating with key stakeholders and ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across teams.
Candidate profile
To excel in this position, we imagine you meet most of the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in system architecture, combined with strong technical competencies and a robust understanding of architectural design
- Excellent grasp of security requirements for Production Infrastructure with focus on network infrastructure and virtual platforms
- Strong communication skills and capability to explain technical architecture to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to drive large technical projects and lead Solution Architects and other Architects
- Proven experience in Production Infrastructure within the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage

You will be joining Production Infrastructure department responsible for setting the direction of a global uniform IT infrastructure in Product Supply. Our team is dedicated to managing and performing work associated with analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of the organisation's information technology resources. We focus on setting the overall direction for the organisation, ensuring alignment and implementation of governance and processes for IT as well as technical strategy.
