System Architect

We are seeking a dynamic system architect to shape and drive the architectural strategy for our production insights program OEE Intelligence. The Position

As our new System Architect for the OEE Intelligence program, you will be driving and setting the direction for the architecture of the program and ensuring alignment across several tracks such as business logic, storage and data exploration, and UI development. You will oversee the architecture and ensure seamless integration between these tracks. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance and security towards our data sources, creating robust scalability solutions, and developing technical components in the most sustainable way.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the overall architectural vision for the program.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure effective implementation of the architectural vision in the delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (developers, tech lead & data architects) to align architectural decisions with business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and enforce technical governance to maintain architectural integrity.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluating emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to assess their potential impact on the program architecture and overall technical landscape.

Qualifications

Your key trades include, but are not limited to the following experiences:

  • You have a Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar in experience.
  • You have a strong Data/system Architect or Engineering background with experience of technologies used in the Data Architecture – DataBricks, Python, AWS (DMS, S3 and Redshift), C#. Kafka, Azure cloud, Azure data fabric and PowerApps experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience with agile ways of working and supporting tools like Azure DevOps.
  • You have experience as a Data/system architect or aspiring to take that role working with integration platforms and methods towards both on-premises and cloud.
  • You have experience with data harmonisation, publishing complex data to data lakes and architecture.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, enjoying being a strategist and mentoring team members.

You are proactive, curious, structured, visionary and want to take the lead in ensuring we deliver a future proof and solid program architecture. You are also an outgoing person and confident in interacting with different stakeholders at different levels.

 

About the department

You will be part of the PS Data Governance & Insights department in Digital, Data & IT. We set strategic direction within data governance and insights solutions in Novo Nordisk.
