The position

As a Strategic Communication & Change Manager, you will lead communication and organisational change management initiatives across Global IT Operations (Digital Workplace Solutions, Production Infrastructure, Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure and Global IT Support). You’ll play a pivotal role in embedding strategies, reinforcing agile ways of working, and supporting leadership with tailored strategic communication.

Collaborating closely with subject matter experts and communication professionals, you will oversee the planning and execution of communication activities that anchor the GITO strategy and drive transformation across the organisation.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies and change management initiatives aligned with the GITO strategy
  • Plan and drive strategic change projects, ensuring buy-in and alignment across GITO
  • Manage various communication projects and campaigns from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
  • Craft engaging content, including videos, presentations, articles, and material for internal communication platforms, including the Global IT Operations SharePoint site, internal newsletter and communication related to our quarterly management updates
  • Drive collaboration with stakeholders across GITO and DD&IT, ensuring cohesive and impactful communication efforts
  • Monitor and report communication metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of strategies, while also manage communication budgets and timelines

This position is a fixed-term role covering parental leave, with an expected duration of approximately one year.

 

Your Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate for this position, we imagine you have a master’s degree in communication or related field and meet most of the following requirements:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic communication, project management, or digital innovation, ideally from a complex corporate setting or regulated industry
  • Strong people skills to influence stakeholders and foster collaboration across all organisational levels
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing communication projects from concept to execution, while experience in facilitation of strategy processes and working with senior management is an advantage
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for a variety of audiences
  • Familiarity with communication metrics and tools to track effectiveness

 

We are looking for someone who is structured, and able to work in a fun and challenging environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

About the department
The team is anchored in Global IT Operations which is an area of approximately 600 employees working across Denmark, India and the US supporting Novo Nordisk with IT Infrastructure and Operations.

 

GITO Strategy & Transformation is a cross-functional team including Project Managers and Student Assistants. The team is responsible for cross GITO activities, our agile ways of working and portfolio management. The core function of the team is to drive strategy activities, organisational development activities and manage agile portfolio supporting the four Product Areas.
