Are you a dynamic project manager or a technical expert eager to make a significant impact in the manufacturing domain? Do you thrive on translating complex technical discussions into business language and enjoy being the key interface between delivery teams and architecture?  If you have a passion for innovation and a knack for stakeholder management, we want you to join our DD&IT PS TFT Architecture team as a Solution Architect.

The position requires working with leadership up to VPs, so strong stakeholder management and communication skills are a big plus. If that sounds like you, read on and apply today for a life-changing career!

What’s in it for you?

As a Solution Architect, you will be paired up with leaders and architects from DD&IT covering Novo Nordisk’s core PS (Product Supply) processes, specifically for the Production domain.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Be the point of contact between DD&IT PS Production leaders and the DD&IT PS architecture team
  • Define, drive and maintain the technology roadmap for the domain and support peer architects in building and maintaining architectural runways
  • Join portfolio sync meetings with the area leaders and raise relevant technical enablers and their business value, in alignment with the Business Owners/leaders for the area, to cross-functional teams
  • Guide projects and initiatives towards our governance process and standards
  • Ensure, with support of peer area/product architects, that projects and initiatives are well prepared for our governance process and that follow-ups are completed
  • Establish and run architectural forum(s) for the production domain to communicate relevant artifacts and architectures to the domain’s stakeholders and raise any relevant architectural topic to the Architecture team

The current source system landscape around these opportunities is diverse. We chose to work with PAS-X, SAP (ECC, GBT, ATTP), SAP EWM, DeltaV, and other SCADA/DCS solutions to mention some.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in the role, we believe you can tick off most of the following boxes:

  • Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Communication, Business or similar in experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing systems (DCS, MES, Building Management Systems, CCTV etc..) as a technical PM or senior business analyst/architect
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of IT topics such as IT security, IT infrastructure, applications, data, and a strong interest in those
  • Proactive and highly independent
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into non-technical language
  • Experience within the pharma industry and GxP context would be a plus

As a person, you are energised by taking responsibility, not only for the Domain Architecture but also for ensuring cross organisational alignment and communication on different levels. You are proactive and curious, collaborative, visionary and want to take the lead in ensuring we deliver a future proof and solid IT architecture to our stakeholders.
