Behind the title
As the Senior IT Project Manager in the DD&IT M&A Corporate Assets team, your responsibilities encompass DD&IT Due Diligence (DD) by leading and defining the IT integration strategy and target operating model for the acquired target. Additionally, you will facilitate go-live from Day 1 through Day 100 and the subsequent handover to the DD&IT M&A long-tail Post Merger Integration team or Line of Business.
As the Senior IT Project Manager in the DD&IT M&A Corporate Assets team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and driving the Corporate Assets M&A successfully from the signing to go-live on Day 1 through Day 100, and the subsequent handover to the long-tail Post Merger Integration team or Line of Business.
- Leading and preparing DD&IT Due Diligence (DD), providing recommendations to drive strategic alignment and informed decision-making, as well as managing the DD & Integration budget.
- Developing the IT integration strategy and target operating model to align with the overarching NN strategy, ensuring sustained success and long-term viability of the integrated entity.
- Implementing effective and transparent systems, structures, and processes to navigate projects with precision and consistency, ensuring project clarity and effectiveness.
- Providing critical support at key decision points throughout the project lifecycle, particularly during milestone events, to ensure seamless progress and alignment with overarching goals.
- Assembling project teams, aligning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and assessing resource prerequisites to ensure streamlined project execution.
- Establishing clear project goals and objectives, fostering a high-performance environment that optimizes resource utilization and motivates team members toward project success.
What we scout for
We are seeking a candidate who ideally meets most of the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, IT, or another relevant field
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in large complex organizations
- Previous exposure to M&A would be beneficial, although not mandatory
- Deep knowledge of traditional Project Management methodology, as well as Agile ways of working

You can work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
