About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced senior information security architect. In this position, you will focus on protecting information security within manufacturing companies we have acquired, which have yet to be fully integrated into our existing infrastructure and systems. As this is a newly emerging area, it offers a unique opportunity to shape our information security architecture and transform it into a competitive advantage.

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to define what is the right way to implement our security target architecture for our activities in the acquired companies. Due to the nature of the acquired companies not being fully integrated, the security target architecture must be interpreted to fit the purpose. This means that it may be necessary to define both integration and stand-alone scenarios.
  • Facilitate secure connections between the acquired companies and Novo Nordisk to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Function as a trusted advisor between Global Information Security and the rest of Novo Nordisk, especially the IT and manufacturing organisation, to ensure alignment on security objectives

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in technical information security, preferably in an M&A or integration context
  • Specialist knowledge of industrial automation control systems and terms like ICS, DCS, SCADA, Risk assessments and GxP
  • Specialist knowledge of network security and/or hybrid cloud solutions
  • Experience with making yourself understood by people with a different background than yours, both in writing and through presentations and personal interaction
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus

You will be collaborating with many different people, ranging from your information security colleagues and technical experts, to senior management, business colleagues and people who are far from your daily life. You will therefore navigate different situations and personalities. You will succeed if you are diplomatic and enjoy an unpredictable workday. Many of your tasks require you to be active and take the initiative to find a good pragmatic solution on your own. Therefore, it must be natural for you to reach out to your colleagues for guidance and alignment. Your stakeholders will expect you to be calm and approachable and always deliver what you have promised.

It is a requirement that you can pass a security background check.
