Your new position

As the Senior IT Integration Architect you will own the organisation’s technical and architectural direction, ensuring all initiatives align with governance, IT processes, and strategic priorities. You will operate with a high degree of independence, tackling highly complex specialist tasks critical to the CVP area with minimal oversight. Collaborating across functions, you will define and communicate a unified technical vision that promotes standardisation and reuse throughout Novo Nordisk, while serving as the trusted subject matter expert for key processes within the VP/CVP area—advising on applications, platforms, and data. Leveraging deep business understanding and strong influencing skills, you will guide colleagues, shape decisions, and, when required, direct the work of other team members to drive meaningful impact.

  • Provide authoritative technical and architectural guidance that keeps IT initiatives tightly aligned with organisational objectives
  • Offer expert, actionable advice on IT Integration architecture to ensure solutions drive measurable business value
  • Empower teams to adopt best practices and implement innovative, production‑ready solutions with confidence
  • Establish a shared technical direction across the organisation, creating cohesion and reducing duplication of effort
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand and actively support the architectural roadmap, from engineers to business leaders
  • Proactively anticipate future business needs by identifying emerging technologies and market trends that unlock new opportunities
  • Champion standardisation and reusability to accelerate delivery, reduce complexity, and improve maintainability
  • Lead and execute hands-on platform engineering for our global integration platforms, delivering new capabilities and operational excellence

 

Your new department

As a Senior IT Integration Architect, you will join a collaborative global integration team made up of IT Integration Architects, DevOps Engineers and Developers. You will collaborate with distributed teams across the organisation and work closely with our global delivery teams to design, build and operationalise enterprise integration capabilities at scale. You will be part of a foundational, cross-functional unit responsible for our enterprise integration platforms and for enabling the global integration strategy across Novo Nordisk.

 

Your skills & qualifications

You are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. You have minimum 5 years of experience in IT architecture or a related field. Having a demonstrated expertise in technical strategy and IT governance and proven track record in designing IT systems and infrastructure solutions will be required. Further sought-after skills are

  • Experience with integrations, software development and cloud platforms
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily with customers, vendors and consultants
  • Strong organizational understanding
  • Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good language skills in English
  • High degree of flexibility
  • Good interpersonal skills
