We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Partner to join our team to support Enterprise IT .

Your impact begins here

As a Senior Cyber Security Partner, you will be the trusted security advisor for Enterprise IT. You will help ensure that cyber security is built into how your area works, makes decisions and develops.

You will translate current and emerging cyber risks into clear, practical advice, contribute to cyber security strategy, and build a strong partnership between your business area and central Cyber Security organisation. Your work will help protect the systems, technology, and data that Novo depends on to drive change for lasting health. Supporting Enterprise IT, you will work closely with your business area to understand its priorities, technology landscape and risk profile, adapting security guidance to its specific needs.

What you’ll bring

You combine broad cyber security expertise with a strong understanding of enterprise IT environments and the ability to build trust, connect security risk to business objectives, and move the business forward.

For the position supporting Enterprise IT, we are looking for experience advising on cyber security risks across enterprise applications and IT infrastructure, including cloud services, identity and access management, end user devices and networks.

This position requires the ability to translate cyber security risks into practical advice and support informed business decisions.

You will bring:

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience within cyber security, information security, IT risk or related disciplines in a large or complex organisation.
  • A strong understanding of IT and/or OT and the ability to connect security to business objectives.
  • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with your assigned area.
  • Very good interpersonal, communication and coaching skills.
  • The ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties such as vendors, consultants and authorities.
  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Full professional proficiency in English. Danish language skills may be an advantage but are not a requirement.

Useful, but not essential:

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA.

What you’ll do

You will be the go-to security partner for your assigned area: the person who translates threats and frameworks into practical advice that supports informed decisions and helps teams act on them with confidence.

  • Act as the cyber security partner for Enterprise IT driving collaboration between your assigned business area and other security professionals.
  • Provide expert advice on current and future security threats, translating risk into clear priorities your stakeholders can act on.
  • Help stakeholders understand cyber risks, available options and appropriate mitigations, enabling informed, risk-based decisions.
  • Support and contribute to cyber security strategies, making sure they reflect the realities and objectives of your assigned area.
  • Promote and establish a strong relationship between your assigned area and Cyber Security, so security is considered early rather than added late.
  • Work with external parties, including vendors, consultants and authorities, to keep security work moving forward.

Who you’ll work with

You will join the Security Partners team within Cyber Risk and Resilience, working alongside eight colleagues serving as Security Partners and Business Information Security Officers (BISOs).

In your assigned area, you will provide trusted, risk-based cyber security leadership and help embed security into business and technology decisions.

Your closest partners may include:

  • Data, process, business and contract owners
  • IT system managers
  • Managers, subject matter experts, architects and process teams
  • Domain and enterprise architects
  • Colleagues across Enterprise IT
  • Cyber Security colleagues and other relevant specialist functions

Bringing these perspectives together, you will create clarity on security priorities, speak up when things stall and help teams make decisions they can own and follow through on. You will report to Erling Jepsen, Director.

What you can expect here

You will be trusted to lead on security for areas that matter to how Novo works today and develops new treatments for tomorrow. Your expertise will be valued, your voice will be heard, and your advice will shape real decisions.

You will work with skilled security professionals, architects and partners across IT, OT and research, building your skills through practical, cross-functional experience. You will be supported to perform at your best, with honest feedback and clear expectations, in a team that combines curiosity, collaboration, and ambition.
