Your new role
As Product Owner for our global Virtualization area, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the virtualization platform that underpins operations across Novo Nordisk. Spanning virtualization, compute (servers) and storage – with VMware as the primary platform – this is a role for someone who can create structure, ensure stable operations and drive continuous improvement at the same time.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Taking full ownership for the stability, performance and continuity of the virtualization platform
- Driving product vision, roadmap and progress on strategic initiatives, while ensuring clear prioritisation between development, improvements and stable operations
- Establishing structure, governance and clear processes across the area, and driving architecture and technical direction in close collaboration with architecture teams
- Ensuring effective collaboration and alignment across our global teams in Denmark, India, US and Manila
- Leading and developing the team with a strong focus on performance, ownership and delivering results
- Driving automation, lifecycle management and standardisation of the platform
- Strengthening collaboration between Operations, Engineering and the business

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Product Owner who thrives at the intersection of technology, people and strategy. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- 5+ years' solid experience in IT infrastructure, with documented experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead or in a similar role
- Strong technical understanding of VMware (vSphere, vCenter), combined with in-depth knowledge of data centre operations and enterprise environments
- Proven experience driving global teams and delivering results across multiple locations
- Ability to create structure, clarity and progress in complex organisations, balancing operations with development and improvement
- Strong stakeholder management skills at both technical and business levels, paired with clear and effective communication in English

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
