The position
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be a key contributor driving portfolio management in the Global IT Operations (GITO) Cross-ART Forum with Product Managers and Release Train Engineers (RTEs). You’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders across teams and contribute to high-level decision-making.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate closely with the Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Finance team to ensure a strong link between the budget process and the portfolio of IT initiatives
- Support the creation of clear, concise, and visually engaging overviews to facilitate decision-making on the portfolio
- Analyse existing project portfolios to assess alignment with strategic objectives and identify areas for optimisation, consolidation, or realignment within the project portfolio
- Generating data-driven insights to assist the leadership team in making informed decisions regarding project evaluation, prioritisation and resource allocation
- Developing and presenting recommendations for portfolio adjustments to support the organization's goals
You will also work closely with the Strategy and Transformation team, including Organisational Change Managers and Transformation Leads, ensuring alignment and secure collaboration through continuous stakeholder management.
This position is a fixed-term role covering parental leave, with an expected duration of approximately one year.
Qualifications
To be the ideal candidate for this position, we imagine you meet most of the following requirements:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a field, such as Software Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration and minimum 3 years of relevant business experience
- Experience working within Agile IT framework (e.g. Scaled Agile Framework) and the ability to navigate both traditional waterfall projects and Agile initiatives (e.g. Epics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create strategic overview and insights (e.g. project portfolios, architectural roadmaps)
- Consultant’s mindset ready to take on new challenging assignments

About the department
This role is situated within our Global IT Infrastructure and Operations department, a dynamic team of 600 professionals spanning Denmark, the US, and India. As part of the GITO Strategy & Transformations department, you will join a dynamic group focused on driving the strategy process and enhancing the agile delivery engine. You will be working out of Ballerup, Denmark, in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
