M365 Senior Architecture Specialist

Your new role 

As an M365 Senior Architecture Specialist in our Global Digital Workplace EMEA team based in Ballerup, you will be instrumental in defining and continuously developing services within the Digital Workplace area, with a sharp focus on the M365 platform, applications, and related services. Your expertise will directly impact how all Novo Nordisk employees and external stakeholders collaborate and work. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Developing and designing architecture and integrations for M365 technologies that are secure, scalable, and reliable 

• Advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into practical designs, leading design sessions, developing PoC/pilots, and implementing projects 

• Supporting the definition and execution of the technical and architectural roadmap for our M365 platform 

• Evaluating the feasibility of new features and services from vendors and engaging with them to improve and adapt solutions to Novo Nordisk's global usage 

• Collaborating with infrastructure and support areas including security and network infrastructure to develop integrated solutions 

• Driving automation and AI implementation of processes and services related to the M365 product portfolio 

• Continuously optimizing license and app assignments to match business requirements while ensuring operational excellence 

• Leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues within the M365 product area.

You'll join Global Digital Workplace, shaping how employees work, collaborate, and communicate with digital tools. We're a virtual team mainly based out of Denmark and India, supporting global services and platforms. Your skills & qualifications 

We're looking for an experienced M365 Senior Architecture Specialist who thrives in a dynamic, global environment and is passionate about designing solutions that make collaboration easy. 

You'll bring with you: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent job experience 

• 7+ years of experience with infrastructure and technologies related to the M365 platform and services, with proven domain knowledge 

• Knowledge of ITIL (ITIL Foundation certified) 

• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to set direction and communicate a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency at all levels of the organization 

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken) 

• A structured approach with focus on driving outcomes, demonstrating agility and ability to adapt quickly to changes 

• Ability to hold self and others accountable, with strong skills in delegating and empowering others to take action 

• Ability to operate and achieve results in an international IT operation and translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities 

Experience working in a regulated medical environment and experience and understanding of service design and UX is a plus.
