In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital solutions within Microsoft 365 technologies such as Office, SharePoint, Teams Apps, Copilot and digital collaboration tools such as Templafy and Miro, leveraging the benefits of current and upcoming technologies, providing relevancy for all Novo Nordisk employees and ensuring that our products are secure and compliant. You will have a real impact by defining and continuously developing services within the Digital Workplace area.

 

We are an organisation based on the SAFE agile framework, and you will be part of a global Agile Product Team consisting of team members based in Denmark and India. The team consist of IT architects, service managers, business analysts and operational analysts working collaboratively to deliver the best user experience and stable operations for all Novo Nordisk employees.

 

As an M365 Senior Product Architect, you will work across teams to manage projects, stakeholders, and ensure that services meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

 

Apart from developing and designing the architecture and integrations for M365 platforms, applications and related services, in this role you will also have the opportunity to:

 

  • Advise stakeholders and translate business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable solutions, as well as lead design sessions, develop PoC (Proof of Concept)/pilots, and implement projects
  • Support the Product Owner to define and drive the technical and architectural roadmap.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of new features and services from vendors and engage with vendors to improve and adapt to Novo Nordisk usage globally
  • Collaborate with other infrastructure or support areas to develop solutions such as security and network infrastructure
  • Ensure operational excellence within the Product Area and drive troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues

 

Additionally, you will be responsible for transfer of information to service managers and colleagues in the global support organisation giving you a chance for a truly global collaboration.

 

Skills we look for
To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent job experience, including 7+ years of experience with infrastructure and technologies related to the M365 platform and services
  • Proven domain knowledge with M365 and related technologies
  • Knowledge of ITIL (ITIL Foundation certified) and the SAFe framework as an advantage
  • Ability to set direction and communicate a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to operate and achieve results in an international IT operation, also by delegating tasks and empowering others

 

As an ideal candidate you will possess excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to communicate with clarity and urgency across all levels of the organisation. You are structured, outcome-focused, and demonstrate agility in adapting to changes while maintaining accountability. You are also able to translate strategy into clear goals and priorities, presenting ideas effectively with integrity.

 

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have experience in working in a regulated environment and an understanding of service design and UX. Experience working in an agile organization would be a plus but is not a requirement.

About the department

You will be part of DD&IT in Novo Nordisk, with more than +2500 colleagues around the world. You will work in Global IT Operations’ unit where you will be part of the Digital Workplace.

We are a virtual department with employees based in Denmark, India and US. In Digital Workplace you will contribute to changing how Novo Nordisk employees work, collaborate and communicate. We are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Novo Nordisk Meeting technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms and devices.
