IT Service M&A Transition Lead

The position
As the IT Service M&A Transition Lead, you will play a critical role in coordinating the smooth transition of IT services from an acquired company's existing IT landscape to the new IT land-scape, built with standard NN components within O365 and End User Services (laptops, mobiles, remote access, SharePoint, mail, meeting rooms, etc.). You will ensure that the transition aligns with existing standards and facilitates a seamless user experience. You will work closely with the IT Project Manager and IT Change Manager on deadlines and deliverables throughout the transi-tion process.
Key Tasks and Deliverables:
• Coordinate Service Transition: Work closely with the IT PM and technical teams in DD&IT to implement new or changed services based on business requirements and the overall delivery plan, ensuring timely delivery.
• Facilitate User Experience: Think holistically about the user experience and support the change manager workstream by minimizing disruption to end users.
• Collaborate with Technical Teams: Engage with technical teams in DD&IT to understand the impact of various IT solutions and ensure necessary resources are assigned accord-ing to the project plan.
• Ensure Adherence to Standards: Verify that all deliverables within O365, laptops, mobiles, printers, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, VDI, Power Apps, etc., adhere to established stand-ards.
• Provide Information and Analysis: Offer insights and analysis to the project manager to support informed decision-making and ensure the transition stays on track.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Coordinate with process owners in GIAM or IT Scalability to document and explain issues for prioritization and solution de-sign during M&A projects.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; an ad-vanced degree is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years' experience from DD&IT
• Strong understanding of IT solutions and services to effectively coordinate with technical teams.
• Proven experience in coordinating complex IT projects, ensuring deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.
• Familiarity with change management principles and practices to facilitate a smooth tran-sition and minimize disruption to end users.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with technical teams, project managers, and end users.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and proactively address challenges during the transition process.
The ideal candidate should be adept at navigating complex IT landscapes, coordinating with vari-ous stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless transition that aligns with established standards and best practices. We are looking for someone with solid experience working with O365, SharePoint, Teams, VDI, and other relevant technologies. M&A experience is a benefit but not required.
About the department
The position is based in Strategy & Transformation, DD&IT, in the IT M&A team. We are a team of around 25 highly skilled and dedicated people, responsible for ensuring suc-cessful Due Diligence and Integration projects within DD&IT.
