IT Privacy Manager

What’s in it for you 

As an IT Privacy Manager, you will be part of a team that drive initiatives to develop and expand the maturity of IT privacy across Digital, Data & IT and Novo Nordisk globally. Your role involves turning regulatory requirements into practices, defining action plans, and supporting their implementation in the organisation.  

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Advising on privacy policy and IT requirements. 
• Defining and executing privacy compliance initiatives. 
• Providing advice on Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). 
• Supporting our network of local Data Privacy Responsible (DPRs). 
• Developing and providing training and awareness programs. 
• Contributing to global frameworks, policies, guidelines, and tools for compliance and privacy priorities. 

Which competencies to bring 

While not all is required, it is advantageous if you: 

• Have a minimum of bachelor’s degree and 5+ years or a masters’ degree and 2+ years of experience in a relevant role.  
• Possess a solid understanding of and experience in GDPR, data protection, privacy and compliance. 
• Have a good grasp of system development, maintenance, or governance of IT in a large organization. 
• Are knowledgeable about privacy standards and frameworks, such as ISO27001/27701 and ISAE 3000. 
• Hold certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, and CIPT. 
• Are proficient in written and spoken English. 

On a personal level, you are a great communicator, capable of easily relaying information between cross-functional departments and stakeholders, at all levels of the organisation. Additionally, you are proactive in supporting your colleagues, contributing to a good working atmosphere, and have demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly.

In the IT Process & Privacy team, we build and maintain global IT processes and drive the privacy agenda across DD&IT globally. We are a growing and diverse team of currently 9 employees that enjoys a sound combination of a high professional level, close collaboration and support to each other. We enjoy the global scope of the department, which brings us in touch with all domains in the company and all geographies.
