Your new role

 

As an IT Compliance Advisor, you will be part of a central compliance function acting as a trusted quality advisor for our global IT workplace services. You will be working closely with IT Service Managers and IT Solution Owners across Denmark, India and beyond, you will guide teams on compliance matters, drive audit readiness, and champion continuous improvement across our IT services.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as Quality Compliance Advisor and Quality Management System expert for assigned areas, guiding Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical Subject Matter Experts and IT Solution Owners through implementation, testing and retirement processes
  • Owning and driving cross-domain qualifications, authoring central SOPs and serving as content responsible for critical IT related documentation
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert on deviations and driving audit readiness preparation, tracking, monitoring and closure of audit actions
  • Advising on the quality of documentation including supplier assessments, GxP Change Requests, requirement specifications, test plans, test reports and risk assessments, mainly handled in ServiceNow.
  • Driving larger compliance activities including upskilling of quality compliance competencies across the IT infrastructure area
  • Analysing and driving automation activities within compliance, including AI implementation
  • Helping to implement and execute the Enterprise IT & Quality strategy of Quality leadership

You will join Infrastructure Projects, Quality and Service Management (IPQS), a central compliance function of five Compliance Advisors based in Denmark and India. Together with Project and Service Managers, we advise our infrastructure and global IT workplace services on compliance and support central compliance activities that keep our digital workplace safe, compliant and future-ready.

 

In this position your main area will be supporting global digital workplace services and products. You will work across a portfolio that includes Microsoft devices, Meeting Rooms, Live Stream platform, IPT, Mobile Device Management, M365 services, and Apple management to name some main areas. The department Global Digital Workplace supports globally how Novo Nordisk employees work, collaborate and communicate using digital technologies. It is a virtual department with employees based in Denmark and India supporting globally across all areas and countries.

 

Your skills & qualifications

 

We are looking for an experienced IT quality compliance professional who combines deep regulatory expertise with a pragmatic, collaborative mindset and good understanding of IT services in an enterprise setup. You are structured, assertive when needed, and genuinely passionate about sharing knowledge to lift the competencies of those around you. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A minimum BSc (MSc preferred) in IT, compliance, engineering or a related field, plus at least 5 years' experience working with qualification or validation in a regulated environment – with a minimum of 3 years in the IT area
  • Expertise in regulatory requirements such as GAMP 5, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11, combined with hands-on experience in deviations, risk management, CAPA, RCA and A3
  • Several years of experience with IT service management processes and tools (including ServiceNow), Change & Release Management, and the ability to understand and interpret complex technical documents and specifications
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, fluency in written and spoken English, and the ability to represent Novo Nordisk with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and authorities
  • A structured, self-managed approach with strong coaching skills, high cultural sensitivity, and comfort working across countries and time zones – along with the assertiveness to help product teams understand the importance of following the process

Salary

 

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
