Your new role
As our new IAM Architect, you will play a crucial role in modernizing identity and access management to support our evolving business needs. You'll utilize your expertise to analyse, implement and maintain business roles while developing and maturing our RBAC and IAM strategies.
Working within the Identity & Access Management function, you'll enable transformation by collaborating with Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and architects across the organization to define and deliver IAM-related initiatives that impact thousands of colleagues globally.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysing, implementing and maintaining RBAC business roles that support secure and efficient access across Novo Nordisk
- Taking part in developing and implementing tools to support RBAC capabilities
- Contributing to the development and implementation of RBAC and IAM strategies aligned with business objectives
- Designing, architecting, implementing and optimizing IAM solutions that meet current and future needs
- Performing presentations to stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, security threats, and modern methodologies to continuously enhance our IAM capabilities
- Providing strategic recommendations for adopting new technologies that strengthen our identity security posture.

The Identity & Access Management function is anchored under the VP of Infrastructure in Enterprise IT. Our function ensures that IAM is developed and operated according to Novo Nordisk strategies. You'll join a global Infrastructure & Information Security community with colleagues located in Denmark, USA, and India, all working together to secure and enable our digital transformation.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for an IAM or Identity Security professional who can think strategically while delivering practical solutions. You'll bring with you:
- A university degree or similar qualification
- Proven experience with IAM or Identity Security gained through work or university studies
- Knowledge about RBAC is preferred and will strengthen your application
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technological solutions for diverse audiences
- Strong cross-cultural collaboration abilities, with readiness to work in multicultural and diverse environments and navigate cultural nuances
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering results and enabling stakeholders
- Strategic thinking combined with pragmatic execution skills.
As a person, you're a team player with a can-do mindset who is positive by nature and pragmatic in approach. Your heart beats for IAM, and you ideally bring some humour to the workplace. This role is based in Ballerup, Denmark, with travel activity of maximum 10 days per year.
