Full-Stack Cloud Developer
Ballerup, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
Your impact begins here
Build and improve the applications that support colleagues across Novo Nordisk’s SAP Supply Chain area. You will work across the full stack, from user interfaces and APIs to cloud deployment and production support, in a team that values reliable software and practical engineering.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a well-rounded developer who enjoys working across frontend, backend, cloud and delivery practices. You bring:
- 2+ years of relevant software development experience, with hands-on TypeScript experience across frontend and backend development.
- Experience building cloud applications, services or APIs, and an interest in developing your skills on SAP BTP.
- Practical experience with Git, CI/CD and DevOps ways of working, including automated testing and code review.
- An ability to investigate problems, write maintainable code and work collaboratively with people in different roles.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in understanding business processes, so you can clarify needs with stakeholders and translate them into practical technical solutions.
-
A compliance mindset: you understand why changes, tests, access and releases need to be controlled and traceable.
-
An interest in using AI tools in your daily development work to support coding, testing and problem-solving, while applying critical judgement and taking responsibility for the quality of your work.
- Strong written and spoken English.
Useful, but not essential:
Experience with SAP BTP, Node.js, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAPUI5/Fiori, GitHub or enterprise integrations would be useful. GxP experience is an advantage, but it is not required; we will support you in learning the applicable processes and standards.
What you’ll do
You will help develop and operate applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Working with product owners, engineers, architects and business specialists, you will turn needs into secure, maintainable solutions. You will contribute hands-on across the software lifecycle and grow your knowledge of our platforms and business processes along the way.
Day to day, you will:
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, including user interfaces, backend services and APIs.
- Design, test and troubleshoot cloud applications and integrations across our enterprise landscape.
- Use Git, code reviews and pipelines to build, test and release changes reliably.
- Support applications in production by investigating issues, using logs and monitoring, and improving the services you work on.
- Write clear technical documentation and apply appropriate testing, security and release controls.
- Work with teammates and stakeholders to improve existing applications, reduce technical debt and share useful engineering practices.
Who you’ll work with
You will join SAP Quality Solutions within SAP & Ecosystems in Enterprise IT. We support Manufacturing Quality and Supply Chain processes through enterprise platforms, integrations and a portfolio of BTP applications. Product ownership, architecture, engineering and system management work closely together, giving you the opportunity to understand both the technology and the people who rely on it.
What you can expect here
The applications you build and support help colleagues across Novo Nordisk do their work. You will have room to develop your technical skills, learn the business context and contribute ideas for making our services more reliable and easier to use. We value curiosity, sound judgement, collaboration and a willingness to learn.
What we offer
At Novo Nordisk, you'll join a global healthcare company with a distinct culture and strong results. We offer continuous learning, career development, and benefits tailored to your life and career stage.
