The position
We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to influence decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning and Forecasting: Manage the Budget and Rolling Estimates processes to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting for the IT function.
• Month-End Close: Perform month-end close activities, including account reconciliation and financial adjustments, to uphold data integrity and accuracy.
• Actionable Insight and Reporting: Provide actionable insights through financial reporting to support performance-driven decision-making within the IT function.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze cost drivers, recommend optimization strategies, and implement cost control measures to enhance financial efficiency.
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives and support strategic initiatives in the IT function.
• Value Creation: Drive value creation by leveraging financial insights to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within the IT function.

Qualifications
We imagine that a successful candidate has:
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, business controlling or auditing
• Proven experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience interacting with local/global management in a partnering capacity.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

You excel in communication, presenting clear and actionable financial insights to stakeholders at all organizational levels, fostering transparency and trust. Detail-oriented and adaptable, you thrive in dynamic environments, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership abilities to guide teams and ensure financial excellence.
About the department
The Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) Finance team, located in Ballerup (Greater Copenhagen), Denmark, and part of the Business Support Function.
DD&IT plays a key role in connecting and supporting the strategic digital, data, and IT initiatives across Novo Nordisk.
