The position
As our Data Foundation Product Manager, you will work hands-on with colleagues in the Global Supply Chain organization to translate their Data & analytics use cases into specific requirements for our Data Foundation ART. You will guide delivery teams in building a FAIR data foundation that will enable Global Supply Chain’s data-driven vision.
You will be a key member of the ART Leadership team and be the person who sets the overall technical direction for the data foundation to deliver on current and future use cases. In general, you are expected to constantly look ahead, and find new and smarter ways leveraging new technologies, or improving our way of working – in building a strong Data foundation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Be responsible for overall breakdown of business objectives (use cases) to technical requirements for use cases into the portfolio review and prioritisation
- Facilitate cross-alignment through PO syncs and ensure “Run ahead” to foresee and test new requirements to solution
- Own and drive the technical capability (solution) roadmap and align with relevant platform owners to develop Data foundation to deliver on new business requirements
- Oversee the overall health and performance of the data foundation, and Manage incident response, and capacity planning
- Provide training/ support to data consumers on using data foundation
- Manage budget and management of resources across the Data product teams to ensure full utilisation or address missing capacity
Qualifications
To be a great asset to our team, you will have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration/economics, engineering, computer science, data science or similar
- At least, 5 years of working experience in applying data management and analytics to business problems in a top-tier consultancy, the financial industry, or an industrial company, or similar
- A proven track record of driving data & analytics delivery teams in complex international organisations. You have demonstrated that you can translate business problems formulated by stakeholders into concrete analytics use cases and deliver successfully on these
- Experience in working with Data Management using technologies like DataBricks, DBT, PowerBI suite, etc.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in managing both senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Professional proficiency in English

About the department
DDIT PS Supply Chain – Data & Analytics is a newly-established department in Ballerup (Denmark) and is a part of Novo Nordisk Global Digital, Data & IT (DDIT) organisation. The aim of the department is to be a Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence to support the Global Supply Chain organisation in building a scalable Data Foundation – to enable their vision for insights. The short-term focus of the department is to establish an Agile Release Train (ART) together Analytics teams from Supply Chain, and jointly deliver on the first prioritised insights use cases in an efficient and scalable manner during 2025.
