Your new role

 

The Business Analyst in the Commercial AI & Data department is responsible for business analysis (authoring BRDs, FRS, etc.), business process maps/improvements, communication and quality assurance. They are entrusted with identifying AI and analytics use-cases as well as translating business problems/opportunities into AI product requirements. 
You will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain. We strive to stay close to our stakeholders in the business to ensure we deliver on their needs, helping reach millions of people living with serious chronic diseases. Your key responsibilities include:

 

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis 

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand business problems, goals, and needs. 
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and meetings. 
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements. 
  • Prioritize requirements based on business value and feasibility. 

2. Business Process Analysis 

  • Analyse current ("As-Is") business processes. 
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. 
  • Design future-state ("To-Be") processes. 
  • Recommend process optimization and automation opportunities. 

3. Stakeholder Management 

  • Assist technical AI product owner liaise with business users, leadership, and technical teams. 
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across functions. 
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts. 
  • Help ensure stakeholder buy-in for proposed solutions. 

4. Solution Design Support 

  • Work with architects, developers, and product teams to define solutions. 
  • Create functional specifications, use cases, and user stories. 
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives. 
  • Support decision-making through impact assessments and gap analyses. 

5. Data Analysis and Insights 

  • Analyze business data to identify trends and opportunities. 
  • Define KPIs and success metrics. 
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and business cases. 
  • Support data-driven decision making. 

6. Project Support and Delivery 

  • Support project planning and execution. 
  • Assist in scope definition and change management. 
  • Track requirements through the project lifecycle. 
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements. 

7. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 

  • Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. 
  • Coordinate UAT activities with business users. 
  • Validate that the solution meets business expectations. 
  • Document and manage defects and enhancements. 

8. Change Management and Training 

  • Assess organizational impacts of new processes or systems. 
  • Develop training materials and user guides. 
  • Support adoption of new solutions. 
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to end users.

Skills & Qualifications.

 

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business data analysis, business process design, data architecture or product development, with a focus on designing, and measuring large-scale data initiatives. 
  • Deep domain knowledge of Pharma Commercial line of business.  
  • Hands-on programming experience in Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Github DevOps or similar and process modeling tools.  
  • Experience working with cross-functional, matrix teams. 
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale data initiatives. 
  • Good understanding of MDM, Data Quality, Lineage, Catalog, Policy Management tools, GenAI, Agentic AI and ML models. 
  • In‑depth understanding and practical experience with process design, automation, and value measurement frameworks. 
  • Highly proficient in English and able to communicate with all levels.

Salary

 

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00 to 838,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
