The position
As Vice President of Regional Service Centre (RSC) EMEA, Global P&O Services (GPOS), you will:
- Lead the HR service centre, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of HR services such as organisational- and employee changes, payroll, benefits administration, and HR inquiries.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for HR shared services aligned with the overall strategic direction and GPOS’ strategy, focusing on digital transformation, process optimisation, and scalability.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with HR leadership, business leaders, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of HR services, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
- Drive change initiatives within the shared service centre, ensuring effective change management practices to utilize new technologies incl. accelerating AI, standardize processes, and organisational restructuring.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting employee engagement, career growth, and succession planning to build a high-performing team.
Qualifications
We are looking for an Executive with the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years’ experience in driving improvements, digitalization, and implementing shared services best practices. Ideally leading HR shared service center operations within a large, complex organization.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience leading other leaders and at least 10 years of leadership experience in total. Experience heading teams and projects in a matrix organization. A compelling leader who naturally attracts and motivates others. Leadership experience could also be from an affiliate, COE (Center of Excellence) or Product Supply.
- Familiarity with cLEAN leadership and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of HR technology, including HRIS, case management systems, and self-service tools.
- Cultural awareness, financial acumen, and a digital transformation mindset.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
- Experience in a GBS (Global Business Services) environment is an advantage.
About the department
GPOS serves the purpose of efficiently managing day-to-day P&O tasks, processes, and transactions in Novo Nordisk. This area is accountable for consistent operational delivery towards the agreed service levels and timely and accurate support.
GPOS is customer-centric and strives for excellence by prioritising seamless employee experiences and effortless P&O services through continuous improvements. It means optimising every aspect of GPOS to increase quality and speed of service delivery, while eliminating waste and increasing productivity to reduce costs.
At Regional Service Centre EMEA, there is a team of 106 professionals. They support around 35,000 employees across 10 countries, working closely with customers to innovate and improve processes while striving for simplicity and agility in everything executed.
Leading a team of 6 direct reports and a total of 26, reporting to Corporate Vice President, Stine Adrian Møller.
This role can be based in Denmark or in Poland (Warsaw).
If you are not based in Poland, regular travel to our Poland office (approximately once per month) will be required.
