Vice President, People Services

As Vice President of People Services, you will lead a global team of 350+ colleagues to deliver scalable, seamless service that enables our mission to defeat serious chronic diseases. Your role

You will lead an area owning end‑to‑end people services across the global workforce - setting strategic direction, developing talent, evolving the operating model, and ensuring every employee interaction is efficient, compliant, and people‑centric.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Define and execute the People Services strategy, translating it into global operational execution with your leadership team
• Own and evolve our tier-based service delivery model (self-service, front-line, specialist)

• Partner with Enterprise IT and Digital to drive efficiency through automation, AI, and scalable self‑service platforms

• Drive performance across quality, responsiveness, productivity, and cost; establish clear SLAs
• Lead and develop 350+ colleagues, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus
• Contribute to the senior leadership team, shaping priorities across the area
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements across all markets

Your new department

People Services is part of Global P&O Services & Workforce Enablement, where focus is on delivering seamless, efficient and future-fit employee experiences at global scale for Novo Nordisk.

We are responsible for delivering efficient, consistent, and high-quality operations across Novo Nordisk, acting as the first point of entry for employees and leaders globally. We execute end-to-end people processes and manage day-to-day services, transactions, and support. Through a global setup combining Regional Service Centres, GBS, and local HR teams, we ensure seamless stakeholder experience, reliable service delivery, and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Senior leadership experience in large, complex global matrix organizations, with a track record leading global HR or shared services at comparable scale
• Proven delivery of service excellence and end-to-end process optimization
• Ability to set strategic direction and build scalable operating models with measurable outcomes
• Executive-level stakeholder management across business areas and geographies
• Data-driven decision-making, strong change management, and communication skills
• A talent for driving simplification and change while treating stakeholders as partners
