The Vice President will report into the Corporate Vice President of Integrated Quality (IQ) and Operations and Staff Quality (OSQ) and will be a key member of the leadership team for the QMS transformation program (IQ Program) as well as CVP management team. This position is based in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.

 

The position

As the Vice President (VP) of IQ (Integrated Quality) Training, your primary responsibilities will involve setting the strategic direction for the healthcare-regulated training within Novo Nordisk. You will also serve as the IT System Owner of the Enterprise Learning Management System, and you will be leading Process Owners for Job Specific Training Processes and Content Control. Your role will encompass supporting the redesign of training processes, ensuring the development and implementation of new Learning Management Systems, as well as defining metrics to measure success and identifying potential challenges and risks. Additionally, you will be responsible for orchestrating stakeholder alignment and ensuring successful adoption of training changes within Novo Nordisk.

 

Furthermore, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing and multicultural transformation team, fostering transparency, collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the organization. You will define, develop, and oversee the implementation of long- and short-term business strategies and plans for the Training strategic pillar of Integrated Quality. Success in this leadership role demands a high degree of independence, innovation skills, cultural awareness, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

 

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you are expected to have:

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Learning & Development, Education, Organisational Development, HRM or similar.
  • 10+ years of experience in roles working across complex matrix organizations in heavily regulated industries.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, leading leaders.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Enterprise Learning Management Systems and IT.
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement and transformation.
  • Experience with identifying and implementing innovative technical solutions (e.g., AI and/or Machine Learning).
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High degree of independence, resilience, flexibility and cultural awareness.

About the Department

Integrated Quality (IQ) Training is a global community within the IQ & OSQ area in Novo Nordisk Quality. It comprises of approximately approx. 30 colleagues focused on ensuring training process and systems compliance and improvement for +100K end-users. It consists of specialist departments that leverage technology to accelerate and transform training setups that are user-friendly as well as fit for current and future growth.
