The Vice President will report into the Corporate Vice President of Integrated Quality (IQ) and Operations and Staff Quality (OSQ) and will be a key member of the leadership team for the Integrated Quality Program (IQ Program) as well as CVP management team. The purpose of the Integrated Quality program is to transformation the QMS in NN to be future safe and scalable. The IQ Leadership is one of the program pillars.

This position is based in Bagsvaerd, Denmark. 

 

The position
As the Vice President (VP) of Integrated Quality Leadership you will spearhead the transformation and implementation of process excellence in Novo Nordisk. 

You will set strategic direction in the transformation by challenging the existing as well as securing alignment with business strategy and aspiration and you will be driving the implementation in close collaboration with line of business. The process should be both implemented and anchored locally but the organisation of Integrated Quality Leadership will own the framework. The product quality is stage of the art and success for the Vice President will be to ensure the same level of quality for the processes.

 

Additionally, you will be responsible for orchestrating stakeholder alignment and ensuring successful integration and adoption of process excellence within Novo Nordisk. To succeed in developing the best-in-class framework you will work closely with experienced specialist from line of business, and you will rely on their expertise and securing a well functional collaboration and lead by example. Furthermore, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing core transformation team, fostering transparency, collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the organization. The team is a small core team, and you will expand to a size that fits the transformation and imple-mentation.  

 

You will define, develop, and oversee the implementation of long- and short-term business strategies and plans for the Integrated Quality Leadership strategic pillar of Integrated Quality. Success in this leadership role demands a high degree of independence, innovation skills, cultural awareness, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

 

Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  • A master’s degree within relevant 
  • 10+ years of process excellence experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project management working across complex matrix organizations in heavily regulated industries
  • Profound experience in Lean and thereby strong problem-solving skills 
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, leading leaders 
  • Strong experience with Process Management 
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement and transformation
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders
  • High degree of independence, resilience, flexibility and cultural awareness

About the Department
Integrated Quality Leadership is an VP area within the IQ & OSQ area in Novo Nordisk Quality. Besides responsibility for the Integrated Quality Leadership pillar the area is responsible the LEAN Supply System ensuring operational excellence. For now the area consist of 9 skilled colleagues and will grow in size to the need of the implementation.
