Your new role
As Vice President Corporate Facilities, you will join a highly engaged, diverse, and experienced organisation within the Executive Vice President area of Finance, Legal & Global Solutions (FLGS).

Corporate Facilities counts around 315 employees located at our sites around Denmark. The area counts various professional areas and is an area characterized by strong development and engagement – securing the right level and quality needed of services, facilities, security, power etc. for Novo Nordisk.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities in role

 

In this role, your overall areas of responsibility are:

  • Common physical infrastructures in DK, including office buildings and production sites (Novo Nordisk DK represents 400 buildings of +1 mio. sqm)
  • Strong project execution of physical infrastructures and best in class provision of facility services, impacting all 25,000+ Novo Nordisk DK colleagues
  • Center of Excellence for the office portfolio in Novo Nordisk DK housing 10,000+ colleagues
  • Center of Excellence for energy solutions in Novo Nordisk DK, critical of seamless production
  • Knowledgeable planning and execution of corporate facility process digitalization
  • Leadership – lead, engage and develop the Corporate Facility people and organisation

 

 

You will report to Group Vice President Global Solutions and be part of the Global Solutions leadership team, counting 8 highly engaged and global colleagues within various professional areas.

 

As a member of Global Solutions Management, the role also includes the responsibility of pursuing the overall GVP area strategy.

 

 

Your skills and qualifications

 

We are seeking a talented leader with strong strategic thinking abilities and interpersonal skills:

Strategic, enterprise-wide leadership: Ability to think strategically and translate business needs from different EVP areas into forward-thinking functional decisions/standards, based on a thorough understanding of corporate aspirations, challenges, and data based outlook, across multiple and geographically dispersed units/sites.

Stakeholder management: The position demands a high level of both internal and external communication across a hugely complex stakeholder landscape to achieve required results. A proven ability to effectively manage and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, and adept at aligning stakeholder interests with organisational objectives. To navigate in a complex political context with collaboration with DK government, local municipalities/authorities and utility companies. Finally advanced negotiation skills combined with a diplomatic approach.

Mastering transformation, change management and adaptability: Demonstrated capability in leading transformation - fostering an adaptable and resilient organisational culture, and effectively managing change within a growing and evolving organisational structure.

Inclusive leadership: Leading, engaging and developing the organisation and people, and having a strong ability to foster an inclusive and psychological safe organisation where all the immensely diverse job types in Corporate Facilities can thrive and feel valued for their unique contribution. People development, closeness and wellbeing naturally are in focus.

Professional background: You bring a relevant Master’s degree, preferably also relevant advanced leadership programme education and at least 5 years of relevant corporate facility experience within a similar complex, international, and culturally diverse organisation including knowledge of best practice within Facility Management.
