Your new role
As Personal Assistant to the Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth leadership operations, enabling decision-making, and driving efficiency across the People Services organisation. You will act as a trusted partner, balancing administrative excellence with business insight, and contribute to creating an effective and well-coordinated leadership environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executive support: Manage calendar, travel and leadership cadence, coordinate meetings and workshops, and ensure structured follow-up on decisions and actions
- Leadership team effectiveness: Drive coordination of leadership activities, maintain visibility on priorities and milestones, and support annual business cycles
- Business operations & governance: Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and administrative processes, including acting as a delegate in relevant systems
- Communication & stakeholder engagement: Coordinate internal communication, incl. town halls and events, and build strong cross-functional relationships
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen ways of working through digital tools, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
You will operate with a high degree of independence and discretion, handling confidential information and acting on behalf of the Vice President when needed. Your role will also include collaboration with other Personal Assistants and supporting broader team priorities when required. You can expect some travelling.

You will join the People Services area, support a global organisation and collaborate closely with the People Services Leadership Team, People & Organisation, Finance, and Corporate Functions. The department plays a key role in enabling organisational effectiveness and delivering high-quality people services across Novo Nordisk. Working in a dynamic and international environment, you will be part of a strong PA network, where collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are at the forefront – offering broad exposure across the organisation and a unique insight into leadership priorities and decision-making.
Your skills & qualifications
You are a highly organised and proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for supporting leaders and driving efficiency. You thrive in a complex environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a structured and detail-oriented approach.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- Experience: +5 years of proven experience supporting senior leaders or leadership teams in a similar role within a complex, international organisation
- Strong organisational capabilities: Excellent planning, coordination and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Business understanding: Solid insight into business operations, budgeting, governance and administrative processes
- Stakeholder engagement: Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and levels
- Digital proficiency: Confidence working with Microsoft 365 and a curiosity for leveraging digital tools and AI to improve ways of working.

Salary and Benefits: The Annual Base Salary ranges from 499,600.00 to 734,400.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees (Indutriens Funktionæroverenskomst or “IFO”).
Benefits package also include a free choice account of currently 10% and 4% holiday allowance.
