Then this is your chance! We are looking for a Technician to support our Technology Innovation team in Bagsværd. 

 

The position
As Technician in Mechanical Innovation and Development, you will be the daily responsible for our Innovation Lab and the one-point of contact for the Lab. You can expect that your focus will be:

  • Installation, operation, and maintenance of 3D printers, planning and management of 3D printing capacity, support the mechanical engineers in modelling for 3D printing as well as setting up and post-processing of the 3D prints.
  • Take part in ideation and modelling of mechanical designs in CAD (CREO and Catia).
  • Support with design and assembly of prototypes and test setups.
  • Order materials and equipment and manage equipment and SW licenses.
  • Maintenance of the Innovation Lab facility including Health & Safety.

 

You will be collaborating with our ‘Fine mechanics’ workshop and our Innovation Hub in Kalundborg.

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have an analytical and innovative mindset with strong interest in prototyping and practical problem solving.

 

Additionally, it’s an advantage if you have:

  • A technical education (e.g. Technician, Production Technology, Marine Engineering).
  • Hands-on experience with producing mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Experience with 3D printing.
  • Experience with design of equipment.
  • Experience working with stainless steel.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

About the Department
In the Aseptic Production (AP) Innovation and Development department, we develop mechanical and automated solutions to:

  • Future-proof manufacturing solutions maximizíng capacity and compliance and reduce the need for human intervention in existing production facilities.
  • Secure that future facilities are at the forefront of the industry meeting future production requirements.

 

We are responsible for development of equipment and systems from ideation until the first successful pilot implementation. Our skills include mechanical design, automation, robotics, virtual development, rapid prototyping, and validation planning. We are responsible for a test production line in Kalundborg and an Innovation lab in Bagsværd. Out team currently counts 45 employees plus students, interns, and consultants. We are an engaged, diverse, and international team working primarily from our office in Bagsværd.
