Sustainability Project Manager for Circular for Zero incubator

Do you have a track record of executing and implementing various types of facility and energy optimisation projects? Are you self-driven, structured and experienced in having multiple projects ongoing simultaneously? Then you might be the new project manager we are looking for in our Corporate Facilities ‘Circular for Zero’ Incubator.

 

The position

As our new Sustainability Project Manager, you will bring ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives through various stages of maturity and lead the implementation. You will use your project and stakeholder management expertise to navigate the different levels seniority levels in Novo Nordisk, to drive the implementation of sustainability and business improvement opportunities, primarily within the areas of technical facility management and energy optimisation.

 

Furthermore, you will:

  • Mature and drive Circular for Zero flagship projects resulting in significant impact
  • connect the dots where potential may not be apparent, and build business cases with environmental, social and financial impact
  • infuse the Incubator team with your project management experience
  • analyse and transform data into clear and engaging project presentation material for your steering groups and various forums at senior management level

 

 

With these skills, you will be a driving part of the Incubator, ensuring that we implement tangible and significant steps towards achieving zero environmental impact. You will realise the ideas and prove that circular economy initiatives can have a triple bottom line impact.

 

This is a temporary position until the end of April 2023.

 

Qualifications

You hold a master’s degree in engineering and can demonstrate solid experience in driving facility management projects. You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, that you have put in to play when taking projects from early maturity stage through to implementation and handover.

 

We expect you to:

  • have solid experience within project management including the Agile framework
  • be structured and skilled in navigating high complexity  
  • able to motivate yourself in situations where you encounter organisational resistance
  • have senior stakeholder management experience
  • be analytical and capable of turning complex information into simple and engaging presentations

 

You have a broad and deep knowledge of the engineering landscape within facility management and are well-informed about the newest trends in this field.  You are fluent in spoken and written English and Danish.

 

Our ‘Circular for Zero’ strategy is based on the concept of circular economy, and experience in this area will therefore be an advantage.

 

As an individual you have a can-do attitude, and are self-driven, structured and an excellent communicator. You work systematically, logically and proactively. You are robust and capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation.

 

About the department

The Real Estate, Joint Operations and Finance department is part of the Corporate Facilities business unit in Novo Nordisk. Our focus is on managing our financials and real estate assets, and strategically driving digitalisation and environmental sustainability efforts.

 

The available position is in the ‘Circular for Zero Incubator’ team. We manage a large portfolio of sustainability initiatives at multiple impact and maturity levels, some spanning the entire organisation. We drive ideation and work to systematically and strategically implement ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives within the areas of waste, biodiversity, energy optimisation, infrastructure, building maintenance, cleaning and more.
