Are you ready to lead and facilitate delivery of Sustainability AI use cases from idea through development? Do you have experience formulating and implementing AI solutions in a corporate setting. Then you might be our new Sustainability AI Product manager.

 

Your new role

We are now offering a truly exciting and challenging role where you will play a significant part in transforming the way we operate within sustainability. This position offers the possibility to engage with stakeholders across the value chain of Novo Nordisk to generate and build AI use cases within sustainability. Furthermore, you will lead the transformation of how we work with data applying AI and be the lighthouse for sustainability colleagues when it comes to changing their ways of working.

 

As part of the Sustainability Data Solutions and AI team, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and lead the AI strategy and concrete roadmap across sustainability, including design, development, and implementation of AI solutions from ideation through deployment together with the subject matter expert teams and external partners to drive value, scale, and impact.
  • Drive the use of AI across our data landscape to ensure optimisations; set and track KPIs on improvement within this field
  • Act as an AI lighthouse for the department driving new ways of working to advance AI deployment
  • Lead a cross functional working group fostering new innovation and technical sparring across the global sustainability area
  • Deliver insights and support to leadership teams including staying on the forefront of the technological development

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Proven track record (+5 years of experience) in implementing and delivering AI use cases in a large corporate setting
  • A master’s degree within Engineering, Data Science, IT, economics or similar and possibility relevant supplementary training in AI and sustainability
  • External network with peers, companies and relevant partners
  • Profound knowledge and experience within Data governance, platforms and digital solutions
  • Technical understanding of one or more coding languages such as Python, Julia, R or other similar tools
  • Experience within collaboration with external stakeholders to obtain the necessary understanding and knowledge whether this may be in the domain or the technical area of AI
  • Business acumen through consultancy or larger corporations are a pre-requisite

You support those around you and work in a highly structured manner with a clear eye for details. Someone who is proactive and collaborative. You are ambitious and naturally focused on your deliverable. You bring the ability to deep dive into models and also to communicate with those with less technical insight than you. Finally, you have strong communication skills, both oral and written English. The ideal candidate excels at building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions.

 

Your new department

The Sustainability Data Solutions and AI team is part of the Sustainability Strategy and Insights Department in Novo Nordisk. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and data engineers as well as business analysts who drive data analytics on the sustainability agenda on behalf of Novo Nordisk. The Department is currently consisting of 7 people in HQ, 2 colleagues in Poland and 2 colleagues in Bangalore, India. We work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to implement the sustainability strategy across our entire value chain.

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
