The position
As a Supply Planner at Novo Nordisk, your primary responsibility involves monitoring inventory levels, prioritizing production needs, placing purchase orders, and coordinating activities to ensure the availability of released materials
Other key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the daily supply of raw materials while driving optimization initiatives
- Focusing on managing daily operational tasks while periodically participating in projects with a high degree of independence
- Participating in the implementation of new systems and processes
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we imagine you:
- Hold a graduate degree (BSc or MSc) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing or supply chain planning experience
- Demonstrate a structured approach and organized mindset, with a strong analytical orientation towards data and processes
- Bring strong stakeholder management, along with coordination and communication skills
- Showcase proficiency in both spoken and written English
It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have familiarity with SAP, and Excel and speak Danish.
As a person, you excel in dynamic environments and have demonstrated expertise in supply planning, supplier relationship management, stakeholder management, clear communication, change management, and strong analytical skills. You are effective at meeting deadlines, approaching tasks in a structured manner, and are motivated by making a difference. You see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job and thrive in a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities.
About the department
Raw Material Supply Planning is part of Inbound Supply Management, in Sourcing Operations. The team is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing warehouse stock levels for the thousands of raw materials going into Novo Nordisk production sites worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure a reliable supply of Raw Materials in compliance to the high-quality standards set by the Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally.
You will join a dynamic team of 12 employees who are responsible for supply planning, master data (creation & maintenance), and process optimizations. We are currently based in Bagsværd, but we would also like to inform you that in January 2026, the team will change its location to our new offices in Høje Taastrup.
