Supply Chain Planner
Are you ready to play a key role in ensuring a stable and efficient supply chain supporting clinical production? Do you enjoy working with complex material flows, data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration? Join us and help shape the future of supply chain operations at Novo Nordisk.
Your new role
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will join our Data & Supply Chain team within CMC Pilot Operations, where we support both Danish and global production sites. You will play a central role in ensuring a reliable supply of materials to the clinical pipeline, balancing demand, capacity, and inventory across multiple stakeholders and locations.
In this position, you will operate at the intersection of planning, logistics and collaboration, contributing to a growing organisation where flexibility and proactive thinking are key. You will work closely with internal teams as well as external partners, ensuring smooth material flow and effective supply chain processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Forecasting demand for raw materials, with a focus on long lead-time items, and maintaining a strong overview of demand versus inventory
- Planning and coordinating logistics flows for larger production campaigns
- Ensuring implementation of supply chain routes and warehouse agreements across internal sites and external manufacturing partners
- Managing logistics and storage in connection with contract manufacturing projects
- Supporting continuous optimisation of supply chain processes and identifying improvement opportunities
You will also analyse supply chain bottlenecks and support decision-making through data insights, requiring both analytical thinking and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organisation.
Your new department
You will become part of the CMC Pilots Business Support department in the Data & Supply Chain team. Our team consists of approximately 15 professionals working across supply chain, production planning, business analytics and project management. We are a diverse and high-performing group driven by collaboration, curiosity and a shared ambition to solve complex challenges. Based in Bagsværd, we play a key role in supporting clinical production and enabling future growth.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring a relevant educational background combined with a strong interest in supply chain processes and collaboration across functions.
We are open to candidates at different experience levels, but we expect that you:
- Hold a degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, economics, or a related field
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data and planning scenarios
- Are capable of working both independently and collaboratively across functions and cultures
- Communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and spoken
- Have solid Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar systems is considered an advantage
In addition, you are proactive, structured, and eager to learn. You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift, and you are comfortable taking ownership and making decisions.
