Are you studying law and interested in a Student Assistant position within employment and labour law? We are looking for a new colleague to join the Employee Relations DK team. Our office is in Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Bagsværd, Copenhagen. 

 

About People Relations 

Within People Relations, our responsibility involves the following: 

  • Providing guidance to leaders and HR Business Partners on labour and employment law 
  • Negotiating Novo Nordisk's collective bargaining agreements 
  • Safeguarding Novo Nordisk employee´s personal data and ensure data privacy compliance 
  • Ensuring alignment within Labour Rights according to the UN Global Compact 
  • Driving the social sustainability agenda for our vulnerable employees  
  • Engaging in society with projects to include vulnerable and diverse people 
  • Committing to the Danish society to ensure a continued development of an employable workforce.

  

Your new role

This role will mainly support Employee Relations DK. This team is responsible for providing guidance to managers and HR Business Partners regarding employmee matters and how to understand rules and regulations within employment and labour law as well as our local agreements. 

 

Main responsibilities for the Student Assistant Position:  

  • Support the Employee Relations DK front office by serving as the first point of contact via phone and email for managers and HR Business Partners regarding inquiries related to employment conditions at Novo Nordisk and general labour law matters. Managing legal and administrative tasks including the registration of legal cases in our IT system. Assist Employee Relations DK with updates of knowledge articles published for all Novo Nordisk employees in Denmark 
  • Ad hoc tasks in connection with larger projects in Employee Relations DK. 

 

 

Your skills and qualifications 

To succeed in this role: 

  • You are studying law either at the University or at Copenhagen Business School 
  • Ideally, you have prior experience in the field of employment law 
  • You have a natural flair for service and a good customer experience 
  • As our corporate language is English, you must have a good command of the English language besides being fluent in Danish 
  • You have an independent personality and can see a broad perspective. You can take initiative and have a positive can-do attitude as well as a sense of humour and duty

Salary and Benefits: This position is hourly paid. For this position, the hourly base rate is DKK 205,17  based on an assessment of relevant factors such as experience, educational background, demonstrated competencies, and the specific skills required for the position. In addition to the hourly base rate, Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
