Your new role
As a Strategy Project Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives mandated by the CEO, Executive Management, and the Board. This position requires working across the value chain on various strategic themes of interest to NN, analysing and synthesizing complex information and supporting project teams in the development of well-founded recommendations that will define the strategic direction of Novo Nordisk.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Participate in cross-functional strategic projects and support the planning, scoping and development of these projects
- Strategic partner to EVP areas to ensure the Corporate Strategy is translated into integrated, executable roadmaps with milestones, critical path, and interdependencies
- Ensure execution of our priority initiatives in line with strategic decisions and call out misalignment & gaps in execution
- Provide data, analyses, and project management support, leading to the development of well-founded strategic recommendations
- Maintain outstanding internal collaboration and communication to ensure project alignment and execution
- Develop compelling communication and storytelling assets (narratives, townhall materials, dashboards) tailored to executive and broader audiences
The new department
Corporate Strategy is part of the CEO office at Novo Nordisk. The Corporate Strategy team is responsible for the development of Novo Nordisk’s corporate strategy and managing a portfolio of high priority strategic initiatives sponsored by the CEO, the CFO and executive management team. You will join a dedicated and energetic team of colleagues that have a high level of responsibility, exposure and focus from top management, located in Bagsværd, Denmark.
Your skills and qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
- A MSc degree within business, economics, life sciences, engineering or similar, preferably combined with an MBA degree
- Minimum 3-5 years industry relevant experience with focus on analytical, business and financial aspects is required.
- Experience with consultancy and/or in a large multinational company, Pharma with focus on transformation management and PMO is preferred
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional roles with diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in written and spoken English and strong communication skills
