Your new role

As a Strategy Project Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the Novo Nordisk corporate strategy through providing analytic and project management support on corporate projects, as defined by the VP of Corporate Strategy. This position requires working across the value chain on various strategic themes of interest to NN, analysing and synthesizing complex information and supporting project teams in the development of well-founded recommendations that will define the strategic direction of Novo Nordisk.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Participate in cross-functional strategic projects and support the planning, scoping and development of these projects
• Provide data, analyses, and project management support, leading to the development of well-founded strategic recommendations that define the future direction of NN
• Maintain outstanding internal collaboration and communication to ensure project alignment and execution

Your new department

Corporate Strategy is part of the CxO unit at Novo Nordisk, which gathers the departments of NN consulting, Sustainability and CEO office. The Corporate Strategy team is responsible for the development of Novo Nordisk’s corporate strategy and managing a portfolio of high priority strategic initiatives sponsored by the CEO, the CFO and the executive management team. You will join a dedicated and energetic team of colleagues that have a high level of responsibility, exposure and focus from top management, located in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Your skills and qualifications 

To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree within business, economics, life sciences, engineering or similar, preferably combined with an MBA degree
• Minimum 3-5 years industry relevant experience with focus on analytical, business and financial aspects is required.
• Experience with consultancy and/or in a large multinational company, Pharma is preferred
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional roles with diverse stakeholders
• Fluency in written and spoken English and strong communication skills
