Strategy Partner
Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
Your impact begins here
As Strategy Partner in API Capital Projects, you help shape and drive some of the largest investments in our production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. You will structure complex challenges, turn analysis into clear recommendations, and help leadership make confident decisions at speed. Your work strengthens how major capital projects are planned and delivered, expanding the capacity that brings treatment to more people living with serious chronic diseases.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who can bring structure to complex topics and move them forward with clarity. You likely bring:
• A master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Project Management or a similar field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience from strategy, business development, project management, transformation, capital projects or management consulting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex topics and translate them into clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, including experience preparing presentations and decision material.
• Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and organisational levels.
• The ability to take ownership of assignments and drive them from problem definition through analysis, alignment and follow-up.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
Useful, but not essential:
• Experience with strategy development, portfolio management, investment processes or capital project activities. Danish language skills are an advantage.
What you'll do
You will act as a trusted partner to leadership, helping the organisation prioritise, decide and deliver. Your focus will be to:
• Structure complex strategic and operational topics, analyse them and translate them into clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Prepare concise decision material, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and leadership discussions, ensuring clear outcomes and follow-up actions.
• Support strategy development, portfolio priorities and investment processes across API Capital Projects.
• Connect internal and external stakeholders around shared priorities, dependencies and critical activities.
• Take ownership of assignments end to end, from initial problem definition through analysis, alignment and follow-up.
Who you'll work with
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, colleagues work across the value chain to scale molecules, processes, devices and products for the people who need them.
You will work closely with the Capital Projects leadership team, project managers and project leadership teams, and with partners across Project Controls, governance, finance, quality, engineering, procurement and manufacturing, as well as selected external partners.
You will also engage relevant GMS API and Novo Nordisk governance forums. Based in Bagsværd, you will collaborate across our Danish sites and bring different perspectives together to keep major projects moving with clarity and speed.
What you can expect here
You will work at the centre of large, high-profile capital projects, where your thinking directly shapes how decisions are made. You will broaden your understanding of strategy, investment and manufacturing, build new skills through cross-functional collaboration, and be trusted to take ownership and make your voice heard. The work moves at pace, in a team that combines curiosity, collaboration and ambition to create meaningful progress.
