The position


As a strategy & Governance partner you will be part of the Project Management Office for Future QC - a major CAPEX project. You will deliver analysis and insights to ensure well-founded decision-making and strategic direction at all levels. You might also lead internal initiatives and assessments of e.g., unit cost, manning schedules etc. in close collaboration with project controls, the project, line of business and other relevant stakeholders.
In your role, you will also be supporting approval processes for our global capex investment project all the way through to executive management approval.

 

Your responsibilities will span broad in your support to the project and the head of the PMO including but not limited to:

 
•    Conduct thorough business case analyses and strategic initiatives delivering high quality material to support investment decisions.
•    Drive key analytical initiatives and recommendations across the project, focusing on cost, risk, scope, or other key aspects.
•    Conduct benchmarking and alignment with Global PMO.
•    Prepare high-quality decision material based on facts and insights gathered across the project for management and key stakeholders.
•    Help facilitate workshops on different project management disciplines.
•    Drive initiatives to strengthen governance and project reporting.

 

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you need:

 

•    A master’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, business administration, economics or similar), and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within complex project, program and/or portfolio management (preferably capex). Experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be preferred. 
 

Ideally, you should have the following qualifications:


•   Knowledge of general business requirement and extensive experience in project management/advisory/strategy/management consulting.
•   Experience with conducting business cases and understanding the business impact.
•  Excellent analytical, quantitative, and qualitative problem-solving skills making you able to analyze business challenges to reach innovative, data-supported, cost-effective, and timely decisions.
•    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex challenges in a simple manner to diverse audiences.
•    Proficiency in project management software; excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint is a requirement. 
•    Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

You Possess a curious, analytical, systematic, and inquisitive mindset. You own a can-do attitude, proactively strive for higher levels of performance and you are not afraid of being challenged by peers and stakeholders.
 

About the department


You will be joining the Fill & Finish Expansions department, which is responsible for designing, planning, and building all major fill & finish expansion projects across Novo Nordisk. We are a newly established and growing area, focused on rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. Our goal is to set the standards for the facilities of the future, designing facilities that we will still be proud of 20 years from now. As part of our global approach, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
 

The project you will be working on involves the construction of a multi-functional QC laboratory at Novo Nordisk, with a total area of 44,000m2 and a future workplace for 650 QC colleagues. This state-of-the-art laboratory will provide analytical support to production units across Novo Nordisk, covering products for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, rare blood, and endocrine disorders.
