The position
As VP Strategic Business Partner in CMC API Pilots DK, you will provide support on a variety of strategic, operational and financial tasks while offering day-to-day guidance and analysis.
You will:
- act as the local anchor for the annual strategy process (Strategy2Action)
- support strategy deployment by identifying, developing and implementing business initiatives
- tracking actions and create presentation material for the VP
- collaborate closely with different business units, incl. the CVP Strategic Business Partner
You will drive impactful partnerships through frequent interaction with senior management and identify opportunities to help the organisation prepare for the many future opportunities and challenges. Furthermore, you will have a close collaboration with Strategic Business Partners in other CMC CVP areas.
As VP Strategic Business Partner, you will have a dotted line to the CMC Executive Office with other Business support functions. Our mission is to deliver strategic management support and sparring and to drive communication and other cross-functional projects and tasks across CMC.
Qualifications
We imagine you hold a relevant Master’s degree within science, business, finance or a related field, with 4-8 years of experience in business partnering, preferably within business development, project management or consultancy. Ideally, understanding of API production and/or other complex manufacturing processes is seen as an advantage.
Furthermore you:
- Possess excellent analytical skills, able to transform analyses into clear, impactful communication and actions.
- Can facilitate strategic discussions on a senior management level and effectively manage stakeholders.
- Take pride in handling and delivering on multiple operational and tactical projects simultaneously.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and drive business results.
- Work proactively and independently, taking the lead on complex tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English are essential.
To succeed in this role, a deep understanding of business dynamics and the ability to analyse forecasts and translate them into actionable business strategies is required.

About the department
As part of the Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, CMC Product & Process Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mindset.
CMC API Pilots is the preferred partner for API production supporting clinical trials and ensuring process transfer to commercial production. You will be part of the VP area CMC API Pilots DK, located in Bagsværd. We have a high focus on continuously improving individual and team competencies with a clear focus on people development.
