Do you want to be part of further developing our Strategic Finance department? Then this is your chance to join Strategic Finance as our new Senior BD Finance Lead.
Your new role
In the role of Senior BD Finance Lead, you will be responsible for driving and preparing parts of the financial valuation and analysis process for selected business development projects. You will secure involvement and collaboration with functional specialist areas across the Finance organisation, as well as with Business Development, where you will act as the point of entry for stakeholders across the business. You will have the opportunity to impact and lead the continued development of financial models, tools, and processes relevant for the financial evaluation of business development opportunities.
Your new department
You will join Strategic Finance, a team of 8 employees within Business Finance, working on external business development opportunities as well as driving broader strategic resource allocation discussions and financial decision-making support to Senior and Executive Management.
Strategic Finance works closely together with our Global Business Development organisation in developing and maturing the financial and commercial assessments of various opportunities covering e.g. in-licensing, M&A, commercial collaborations and alliances. Focus is additionally on supporting Senior Stakeholders with in-depth financial analysis and clear recommendations on major strategic decisions in Novo Nordisk.

Your skills & qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, you should have:
- A master’s degree within business, finance, or economics
- 4-6 years of experience in financial planning or consultancy
- Solid financial understanding and great analytical skills allowing you to perform financial analysis and to collaborate with colleagues in Finance and across line of business
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate with large groups and Senior Stakeholders
- As the role requires you to have strong business understanding, you preferably have insights into the pharmaceutical value chain, and you are expected to invest significant amount of time in getting a deep understanding of the Novo Nordisk value chain and the external environment we are operating within
On a personal level, you are proactive, curious and have a flair for driving projects and processes autonomously with several cross-functional stakeholders.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651.000,00 DKK to 956.900,00 DKK corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
