Sr Director, Corporate Affairs Advisory, Global Manufacturing & Supply

Category:  Corporate Affairs
Location:

Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Shape how the world understands one of the most ambitious manufacturing transformations in our industry. At a defining moment of growth, scrutiny and scale, you will be the trusted advisor who helps our most senior leaders set the narrative, navigate complexity and protect what matters most: the trust of patients, policymakers and the public.

Your new role

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of global manufacturing transformation, enterprise reputation, public policy and stakeholder trust. As the Corporate Affairs Advisor to senior enterprise leadership, you will define how Novo Nordisk's Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) organisation is understood – internally and externally – during a period of unprecedented expansion and societal attention.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:

- Owning and evolving the enterprise narrative for Global Manufacturing & Supply, ensuring core messages, storylines and themes land consistently across business areas and sites

- Sparring directly with the GMS EVP and senior leadership on direction setting, narrative clarity, change and engagement – particularly during transformation and heightened external scrutiny

- Building and running a systematic issues and opportunities radar across global manufacturing, with early detection, escalation discipline and solutions-oriented responses

- Leading tailored corporate affairs planning for EVP and GMS priorities, translating strategy into engagement plans that strengthen reputation with policymakers, regulators and industry

- Driving cross-functional coordination across Global Communication, Global Public Affairs, US and International Operations, Legal and other partners to ensure coherent enterprise positioning

- Representing Novo Nordisk in selected external forums and positioning GMS leaders as visible thought leaders on manufacturing excellence, supply resilience and sustainability

- Leveraging AI-enabled intelligence, digital listening and predictive stakeholder insights to strengthen early issue detection and decision-making speed across global markets

Your new department

In Corporate Affairs, you will be part of a team that enhances employee engagement and attracts top talent to ensure Novo Nordisk remains a premier choice for exceptional individuals. Together, we foster an inclusive workplace culture that empowers individuals to thrive and supports our mission to make a positive impact on people's lives.

You will join Global Corporate Affairs, reporting directly to the SVP Corporate Affairs and partnering closely with the GMS Executive Vice President and Leadership Team. It is a small, senior, high-trust environment where your counsel will shape decisions with real reputational and policy implications – at a moment when manufacturing has never been more central to our mission of reaching millions more patients living with serious chronic diseases.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for an experienced corporate affairs leader who thrives in complexity, moves fast under pressure, and brings calm, strategic clarity to senior leadership conversations. You will likely bring:

- 15–20 years of experience in strategic corporate affairs, public affairs, policy or stakeholder engagement, ideally with exposure to manufacturing, supply chain or operations

- A proven track record engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholders – including policymakers, regulators and industry leaders – on issues with clear reputational and policy implications

- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation programmes across regions and business areas, with measurable outcomes in stakeholder alignment and reputational risk management

- Strong issues and opportunity management instincts: proactive, solutions-oriented and able to make fast calls and escalate with clarity across functions and sites

- The ability to learn the manufacturing-policy intersection quickly and shape executive thinking through reputational, regulatory and operational lenses – not only communications impact

- A Master's degree in Communication, Public Affairs, Policy, International Relations or a related field

- Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills
