The position

As Site Manager, you are responsible for managing a group of Novo Nordisk office buildings. Your key priority is to ensure stable operations of our facilities management, and your main tasks will be to:

  • Take part in making new office buildings operational
  • Provide input to a 5-year project pipeline
  • Maintain service specifications and manage soft and hard FM in a group of office buildings
  • Manage expectations and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Manage and oversee budget requirements and prepare business cases

 

Qualifications

We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites

 

  • Educational background in facilities management, engineering, or business
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of managing sites or service contracts, following up on FM budgets, and investment planning
  • Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both orally and in writing

 

As a person you are a team player with a service mindset and have a flair for stakeholder management as you will be in daily contact with line of business, suppliers, etc. You have excellent planning skills and are used to work in a structured manner with an agile mindset. You are result oriented and persistent, even when the tasks become complex, and you experience some resistance. You take pride in making sure that buildings and services – whether its cleaning, maintenance, or catering services - reflect the high standards we set for Novo Nordisk’s products and our global brand.

 

About the department

We are around 350 employees in Corporate Facilities based in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Måløv and Kalundborg, managing ~3000 external employees. We drive strategic facility management in Denmark and are responsible for safeguarding, sustaining and continuously optimising Novo Nordisk property and delivering services to our more than 33.000 Danish colleagues.

 

The department Office Operations is based in Bagsværd and consists of five employees who are responsible for driving maintenance in office buildings. The team delivers service and maintenance through contracts with external suppliers and we work closely to ensure cohesion in our delivery across sites.

Our office portfolio is rapidly expanding, and currently it consists of 350000 square meters primarily in Bagsværd, Gentofte, Søborg and Taastrup.
