The Position
As the Senior Project Manager for CMMS and Digital Systems, you will be a critical member of the global Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering team who is creating and implementing best practices and strategies aimed at enhancing the performance, reliability, and lifecycle costs of our production assets. This role will support development of the business processes and drive the configuration changes needed within the CMMS to support achievement of this goal.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Support the development and implementation of asset management best practices into the CMMS (SAP PM & MM) in alignment with the company's vision, mission, and goals.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in CMMS through partnerships with industry peers and networking groups and evaluate their applicability and feasibility for our business.
- Manage CMMS related projects and programs and ensure timely and effective delivery of outcomes and benefits.
- Establish master data, governance & controls and ensure consistent use of fields within master data records.
- Anchor results into standards & deliver training to Super Users across the organization to ensure users are knowledgeable, capable and drive usage of the CMMS at a high level of quality.
- Perform site assessments on maturity level of CMMS usage and report results to leadership. Support site on continuous improvement activities.
- Support Reliability teams with data necessary to perform data analytics, aggregations, statistical analyses, complex data mining & forecasting.
- Prepare and present CMMS reports and recommendations to senior management and other relevant audiences.
- Drive continuous process improvements using cLEAN® or Six Sigma tools, make recommendations to the management & support implementation of approved changes.
- Research changes and Test SAP PM/MM system updates & functional changes to ensure the system continues to meet business objectives & user requirements & participates in Area Responsible Super User (ARSU) meetings & workshops.
- Ensure effective communication & positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
You will work closely with site partners, operations managers, maintenance teams, and engineering groups to ensure alignment and consistency in reliability across our global network of production sites. You will also support reliability improvement initiatives, asset performance monitoring systems, and asset management standards and policies.
You will report to the Sr Manager, Reliability Programs and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that drives operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Ideally, you have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, maintenance, or related field or equivalent (experience + education).
- Certification in Reliability (e.g. CMRP, CRL) preferred.
- Certification in SAP-PM / MM Modules preferred.
- Expert in SAP MM & PM and their relationship to cross functional models including FI – Co, HR, PS and PP system capabilities, & configurations.
- Minimum 10 years data management and configuration experience related to maintenance operations.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful asset management and reliability projects and programs into the CMMS and driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex and critical issues.
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willing and able to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
- Professional competence to be able to work in English.
