Do you want to help thousands of colleagues build skills, adopt new ways of working, and contribute to improved business performance by ensuring colleagues can perform critical tasks effectively?

Join us as Senior Training Partner and turn business priorities into clear, scalable, and measurable training and learning solutions.

Your new role

We believe strong performance starts with the right skills. As Senior Training Partner, you will lead strategic training projects and shape role-specific training across Novo Nordisk’s non-manufacturing areas. This is a senior individual contributor role with high strategic influence, and you will work directly with senior leaders to translate business needs into training solutions that reach and improve the performance of more than 18,000 employees worldwide.

You will own selected strategic training initiatives, such as role-specific training frameworks or simpler training governance, and you will influence priorities through senior stakeholder forums. Success may be measured through productivity gains, faster time to performance, adoption rates, training effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Lead projects and project teams from idea to measurable impact across training processes, systems, and operations

  • Provide matrix leadership to training professionals across multiple EVP areas

  • Build and present strategies, business cases, and project proposals to senior stakeholders

  • Provide clear and timely progress updates

  • Advise the Lead Training Partner and broader leadership teams

  • Drive collaboration and change management across EVP areas

Your new department

You will join POCA BP Training Partnering and report to the Lead Training Partner for non-manufacturing EVP areas.

The unit builds training, learning, and performance solutions across:

  • Research & Development (R&D)

  • Finance, Legal & Global Solutions (FLGS)

  • People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs (POCA),

  • Enterprise IT (EIT)

  • Product & Portfolio Strategy (P&PS)

We partner with People & Organisation, Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and business leaders to connect training strategy to business priorities.

We combine individual accountability with genuine teamwork, and use new technology, AI, lean methods, and behavioural design to build effective training solutions. Our culture combines high standards, teamwork, curiosity, and practical problem-solving.

Your skills & qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in organisational psychology, human resources, business administration, learning, change management, or relevant field

  • 5+ years of training- or business partnering, ideally including senior stakeholder advisory or cross-functional project leadership

  • Solid experience in training, learning, operational excellence, performance consulting, project management, or organisational transformation

  • Experience working in a regulated environment

  • Strong business understanding, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Experience with digital, system, process, or technology adoption is an advantage. Experience from pharma, healthcare, finance, or another regulated industry is preferred.

You are proactive, analytical, and comfortable working through uncertainty. You set high standards, deliver results, and challenge existing ways of working when there is a better solution. You focus on improving performance. You create clarity and momentum in complex stakeholder environments.
