The position
As a Senior Supply Chain Consultant, your focus will be to implement new supply chain planning systems in our global supply chain. Together with dedicated colleagues, you will work on different projects, identifying key questions, requirements and designs to implement best practice solutions.


In the role as Senior Supply Chain Consultant, you will be:

  • dedicated to projects, where you will be working independently and with colleagues designing and implementing new planning processes and solutions 
  • designing robust supply chain processes in close collaboration with impacted stakeholders
  • managing stakeholders across functions and at different levels in Novo Nordisk
  • ensuring a smooth hand over of new solutions to line of business
  • working in an Agile Setup, which provides a great transparency in work tasks and requires all team members to support different tasks in the team 
  • thinking of supply chain optimization and digitalisation in all you do



Furthermore, it is key that you share your knowledge across the different teams and ensure close collaboration with other projects in our supply chain.

To be a successful Senior Supply Chain Consultant, the following qualifications are required:


  • a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience from similar positions e.g., as consultant or in an international role
  • a master’s degree e.g., in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business IT
  • a natural flair for business process optimisation and IT planning systems
  • proven global experience working with advanced planning systems is an advantage
  • solid experience developing and presenting business cases at a high-level
  • you are fluent in English


As a person, you are known for your high motivation, engagement, ability to create results and strong analytical skills. You have excellent cross-cultural collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills. You thrive working with problem solving projects in an international setting and have a good sense of humour.


About the department
You will join 32 dedicated colleagues in our centre of excellence Supply Chain Process and Solutions. SC Process and Solutions is anchored in Supply Chain, within Novo Nordisk Product Supply and our main responsibilities are to integrate, harmonise and improve global processes and systems within the supply chain. Product Supply have facilities globally and have key stakeholders throughout the end-to-end supply chain. You will be a part of a team of 13 Supply Chain consultants in Supply Chain End-to-End Planning Excellence, with highly competent and engaged colleagues driving the respective projects, but who also enjoys the weekly knowledge sharing meeting on Fridays.
