The position

You will be an integral part of our High Voltage Projects within the Power-To-Site portfolio. You will support the projects within the areas of SCADA and Protection. You will act both as a specialist and project manager within these areas. You will also support operations and the ongoing development and adjustment of both SCADA and High voltage Protection. Security of power supply, scalability and sustainability is a common denominator for all our Power-To-Site projects.

 

In addition to participating in projects, you will also offer your knowledge to a wide range of stakeholders. It is therefore important that you have good cooperation skills and can work effectively with several layers of people. You are not afraid to ask for help and see your own curiosity as a strength.

 

This role is based in Bagsværd and you can expect to work at all Danish production sites.

 

Qualifications

Preferably you hold a master’s degree in engineering or marine engineering, with 5+ years of project management experience within one or both areas of High Voltage SCADA and High Voltage Protection. You can demonstrate solid know-how in driving district energy or utility projects and might have a broad knowledge of the engineering landscape within facility management and are well-informed about the newest trends in the field of energy supplies across all engineering disciplines.

 

Furthermore, we expect you to:

  • Have solid experience within energy design, energy infrastructure or utility installations
  • Be structured and skilled in navigating high complexity
  • Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, that you can utilise when participating in projects
  • Have senior stakeholder management experience
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and Danish
  • Be able to motivate yourself and your project team

 

As an individual, you have a can-do attitude, and are self-driven, structured and an excellent communicator. You work systematically, logically and proactively, and are robust and capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation.

The job is anchored in the department “Sustainable Utility Projects”, which is part of Corporate Facilities. We manage a large portfolio of sustainability projects at multiple impact and maturity levels, some spanning the entire organisation. We drive execution all the way from basic design to handover and work systematically and strategically to implement ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives within the areas of energy supplies and utility installations. We collaborate across business areas of Novo Nordisk and with external partners including consultants and contractors.
