The Position
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will join a truly global team. Even though the position is advertised for Bagsværd (Denmark), Clayton (United States), Brazil we aim to hire globally for this position!
The focus of this role is act as the maintenance and reliability technical owner of the inspection lines globally, managing the fleet. It is crucial to ensure alignment on standardization levels across five sites’ inspection lines. You would be supporting the Global Equipment Owner on technical matters related to the inspection lines.
The position gives a chance to provide incredible stakeholder management within the sites globally, reviewing failure modes and keeping documents updated!
This role offers an opportunity for engaging in travel activities to visit sites (up to 30% of the time) and offer remote support to the global team.
The main tasks will be to:
- Address and resolve technical problems.
- Work on change request cases and be directly involved in approving them with a maintenance and reliability technical background.
- Own the maintenance and reliability strategy for inspection lines, update equipment Taxonomy, RBM (Criticality and Maintenance Assessments, FMEAs/RCM, etc.), SOPs (MWD/FITs), and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) from the global to the site level.
- Evaluate changes and ensure documentation and standards are updated and maintained.
- Facilitate workshops globally to ensure competency and knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A min. bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or automation.
- Several years with hands-on experience in asset management in a related field, particularly in maintenance and reliability of complex assets and systems (performing FMEA, RCA, RCM, RBM and maintenance program development, etc).
- Practical expertise and ample experience in project management methodologies, stakeholder management, and leading international teams.
- Certifications in maintenance (e.g., CMRP, CMRT) and knowledge of LEAN, which is considered a plus.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English; French, Portuguese, Chinese or Danish are a plus.
As a person, you have excellent communication skills, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience. With strong experience in working with diverse teams and stakeholders, you can easily communicate with colleagues globally.
Being a good listener, with a degree of leadership skills, while also being a team player who works well independently is crucial in this role.
