The position
As merger and acquisition activities are rapidly growing in size and complexity, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Quality Project Manager to lead integration projects and securing compliance of newly acquired companies or products.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Define and drive the overall quality integration strategy protecting the value of the acquisition and ensuring compliance together with your broad stakeholder landscape.
- Set the quality direction.
- Identify and plan needed quality activities together with the Quality organisations in Novo Nordisk and with the acquired company.
- Follow up on activities and report status to senior management.
As the central Quality Lead in integration core groups, you will represent Quality throughout the whole value chain.
This position will provide you the opportunity to work with Novo Nordisk external business development activities and give you a broad knowledge and a large network across Novo Nordisk and acquired companies from start-ups to large mature companies.

Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious colleague with a proven track record of creating high performing project teams leading complex cross-organisational projects within the pharmaceutical industry
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold a Master’s degree.
- Have several years project management experience.
- Have extensive experience within the pharmaceutical industry – preferable within operations or quality.
- Are fluent in English.
Experience from working within Novo Nordisk and/or experience within mergers and acquisitions will be seen as an advantage.
As a person, you thrive in a dynamic environment where excellent collaboration and communication with many different stakeholders will be crucial – as a result you will be able to set balanced quality directions ensuring compliance within regulatory requirements and business needs. Finally, you are self-driven and pro-active.
About the department
Mergers & Acquisition is a strong strategic focus area for Novo Nordisk. Our Quality Due Diligence & Integration unit is a dedicated team representing NovoNordisk Quality in all merger and acquisitions in NovoNordisk. Our responsibility is to lead efficient quality due diligence and integrations of new potential acquisitions within manufacturing capacities and assets.
Our unit is also responsible for guiding and maturing the Merger & Acquisition organisation and processes within Quality. We are responsible for the playbooks describing strategies, structure and processes during due diligence and integration.
