Quality Process
Enterprise, IT and Quality
Are you an experienced QMS Professional who can see opportunities across processes and the value chain and connect the dots where others don't? Do you enjoy simplifying how things work and making quality processes easier for people to use? In the Quality Processes department, we are looking for a QMS Professional to support our journey to turn quality processes into true business enablers. You will work closely with colleagues across Novo Nordisk to transform complexity into simple, practical solutions that people want to use.
Your new role
In this role, you will act as QMS Professional and Process Manager for the processes owned by the department. With the Process Owner setting the direction and strategy for the processes, you will work closely with your colleagues in the team and stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to translate the strategy into action and deliver tangible results.
You will be at the centre of end-to-end process improvement, focusing on:
- Driving hands-on design and implementation of process improvements in close alignment with the Process Owner, using your strong process knowledge and business insight
- Actively delivering continuous improvements, ensuring changes are implemented, adopted and sustained based on user feedback, process performance, and business priorities
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand needs, manage interfaces to other processes, and move solutions from discussion to execution through strong collaboration
- Applying industry standards and learnings from industry peers in a practical, action-oriented way to strengthen process performance, usability, and compliance
- Providing stakeholders across Novo Nordisk with QMS training and expert knowledge.
- Assisting the organization during inspections and audits, representing Novo Nordisk with selected external networks and health authorities when needed
Your new department
In Quality Processes, we are the engine behind process transformation. We design, run and continuously improve quality processes with a risk-based and user-focused mindset, ensuring they work well in practice, meet regulatory expectations, and create real value for the business. We keep our solutions simple, stay ahead of industry trends, and take ownership by making decisions close to the processes we own. The department holds end-to-end ownership and accountability for the following quality processes across Novo Nordisk: CAPA System, Change Control, Content Control, Deviation Handling, Quality Performance Monitoring (including Quality Management Review and Quality Risk Management) and Validation.
In Enterprise IT & Quality, you will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain. We strive to stay close to our stakeholders in the business to ensure we deliver on their needs, helping reach millions of people living with serious chronic diseases. Our focus is on being at the forefront within our three areas; ensuring the highest quality for patients, being a trusted tech leader and an environmentally responsible business.
Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, we envision that you bring a combination of, and strong interpersonal skills.
- A master's degree in science, engineering, economics, or a related field
- More than 8 years of experience working with quality processes in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record of leading, executing, and delivering process optimization initiatives within QMS/GXP/ISO frameworks
- Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems and supporting processes, with experience in external requirements from different authorities and countries
- Experience in creating user-friendly processes based on business needs, GXP compliance and integrated IT solutions
- Proven ability to drive change and turn decisions and priorities into concrete actions, while balancing business needs, process usability and compliance
