This role is currently located in NN HQ Bagsvaerd (Please note that our department will be relocating to new office buildings in Taastrup by the end of 2024). 

 

The position  

As Senior QA Professional in Sourcing QA, you will collaborate with dedicated colleagues to ensure the Quality Assurance of outsourced services across various categories and suppliers. You will be instrumental in implementing new procedures and optimizing existing ones within the service supplier framework. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Participating in selecting and approving new service suppliers for within e.g., filter validation, gowning, cleaning, sterilisation, and contract laboratories 

  • Setting the correct quality requirements 

  • Negotiating and maintaining quality related agreements with suppliers 

  • Participating in quality audit at service suppliers world-wide 

  • Leading the closure of audit findings in close cooperation with service suppliers and internal departments 

  • Participating in development project activities as QA Vendor Responsible 

 

You will collaborate closely with quality control, regulatory affairs, Supply Chain, warehouse, consuming departments, and service suppliers. With numerous exciting projects at Novo Nordisk, the role offers diverse tasks, presenting a variety of challenges. Strong collaboration with all stakeholders is crucial for success. In a dynamic and challenging environment with tight deadlines, you will excel in making clear prioritizations and taking responsibility for customer requirements, even in situations where the solution may not be immediately apparent. 

Expect travel activities: 10 –15%  

 

Qualifications 

To thrive in this role you have: 

  • MSc degree or equivalent within pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related discipline 

  • Preferably you have +8 years of supply chain experience from the pharmaceutical industry, medical device industry 

  • Knowledge of sterile environment  

  • Background in supplier management and auditing 

  • Experience in a project-oriented setting is an advantage 

 

Knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, materials, or relevant production processes is also an advantage. 

You are known for your positive mindset, flexibility and persistence and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are obviously needed. 

 

About the department 

Sourcing QA is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and outsourced services deliveries going into all of Novo Nordisk A/S marketed products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. A combination of ensuring a high standard of incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues by the use of LEAN tools is part of our daily work. In total, we are 65 dedicated employees divided into 4 teams working closely together.  We collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and all over the world. 

The team you will be joining is a newly established Business Support team that handles various assignments such as qualification and maintenance of service suppliers, cLean, training and IT QA.
